Overview
Snowchurch was founded durring the late 14th century in fall of the year 1262, by Ktilêli Slater Wordsworth. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Ktilêli Slater Wordsworth.
Snowchurch was built using the conventions of Sylvin durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Snowchurch is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Snowchurch is buildings folow an organic layout of premissive flagstone streets whihch gives the town a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The town has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Snowchurch's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. The town's monster and outlaw focused fortifications have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.
Something in your gut tells you that you may be unwelcome in Snowchurch. The town seems like it’s not showing you the side of itself it would show to others. People mostly ignore your questions. Many folks ask you to leave their establishments, even before you’ve walked inside them. You should probably listen to them, as every time you’re asked to leave the person asking you to leave has referenced the town’s patron divine in some way. The little voice in the back of your mind that tells you when you’re in danger feels like it’s just glaring at you and muttering about how stupid you are for even remaining in town.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Snowchurch was attacked by savage formianss living nearby. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Snowchurch lost 130 people, 203 livestock, and 56 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 122, when members of Snowchurch's militia enacted an operation to construct defenses in a particular fortification. The operation was complicated by enemy spies who revealed the militia's plan. The conflict ended with a last stand against the enemy until a particular event occurred, which ended in a crushing defeat for Snowchurch's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Snowchurch's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
